What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

TabTrade - The Short Version

TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

That last detail is relevant. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from one account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after using both.

FIX API is there for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That would be a good addition when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Should you care? If you scalp, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.

Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Here is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. That does not make it safe. But be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You fund your account, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
